2009 BCSSRU Sevens

The seventeenth edition of this celebration of high school rugby will be held this coming weekend.  Sixteen teams representing the communities of Williams Lake, Vernon, Kelowna, Courtenay and Victoria as well as a strong contingent of teams from the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland will compete in forty-five games over the two-day period at the outstanding field facilities at St. George’s School in Vancouver.

The seventeenth annual BC Secondary Schools’ Rugby Union Invitational ‘Sevens’ Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2009.

St. George’s School will again host the event,and their support is very much appreciated. It is an outstanding facility with two adjoining full-sized fields.
