Antipodean Adventure for the Collingwood Cavaliers

A contingent of forty-nine players, five coaches and one physiotherapist will spend their spring vacation period ‘down under’ on Collingwood’s seventh tour to Australia.  The West Vancouver school has established long-standing relationships with several schools there, most notably Blue Mountains Grammar and Knox Grammar in Sydney who have hosted them on all previous six tours.  The latter is particularly ‘near and dear’ to coaches Dave Speirs and Roger Hatch who each spent a year there on a teaching exchange.  In addition, the travelling group will be hosted by Kinross Wolaroi School (Orange NSW) and Central Coast Grammar (north of Sydney) before moving up to Queensland for matches against Somerset College, Mountain Creek State School and Immanuel Lutheran College.  Best wishes for a successful tour!
