The BC Secondary Schools’ Rugby Union will follow the policy adopted by the BC Rugby Union, and apply all Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) to all school games at the senior level – exhibition, league play, play-offs and Provincial Championship competition. This decision, effective March 2, involves all grades eleven and twelve players, as well as grade ten athletes competing for the first time at the senior level. Coaches are urged to ensure that grade ten players in particular are made aware of these rules, as this coming season is most likely the first time they will play under all of them.
